This website is published by Dr. Guillaume Farah, a urologist with Palmetto Adult and Children’s Urology (“Palmetto Urology”). This policy explains what information the website collects when you visit it. It does not cover your medical care.

How Palmetto Urology uses and protects your health information as a patient is described in its Notice of Privacy Practices. That notice, not this policy, governs your medical records.

Please don’t send health information through this website

This website does not have forms for medical questions, and it is not a secure way to share health information. To discuss your care, call the office at (843) 797-6600 or use the practice’s patient portal.

What we collect

  • Visit statistics. We use privacy-focused analytics that count visits in aggregate (for example, which pages are viewed most). It does not use advertising cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not track you across other websites.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as browser type and the time of a visit, for security and to keep the site running.
  • No advertising or tracking pixels. We do not use Facebook, Google Ads or similar tracking tools, and we do not sell or share visitor information for advertising.

This website links to other sites, including Palmetto Urology’s scheduling and patient portal, published research, and Youro (yourohealth.com), a separate online clinic owned by Dr. Farah that is not part of Palmetto Urology. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
