Common questions

Does a vasectomy affect erections or orgasm?

No. A vasectomy does not change erections, sex drive or the feeling of orgasm. Semen looks much the same; it just no longer contains sperm.

Can a vasectomy be reversed?

Reversal is sometimes possible, but it is a bigger operation and doesn't always work, so a vasectomy should be considered permanent.

When can I stop using other birth control?

Only after your semen analysis at 12 weeks shows no sperm and Dr. Farah has reviewed it.
